17-Year-Old NJ Boy Missing, Possibly In PA: Police
Keegan Spina, a 17-year-old Washington Township resident, remains missing, authorities said Friday, Aug. 28.
Spira was seen at a SEPTA station platform at 6th and Market Streets in Philadelphia, wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, shorts, backpack, and what appears to be a red/maroon Arizona Diamondbacks knit hat, Washington Township police said. Spira is with Alaric Purcell, a juvenile who has also been reported missing from Camden, police said.

A Pennsylvania man has been convicted of abusing two children over a period of years, including beating them with belts and household objects and groping them, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Fernando H. Silva, 35, of Lebanon County was found guilty Thursday of all charges following a three-day jury trial, according to the Attorney General's Office.
The abuse happened between 2019 and 2024, when the children were pre-teens during most of the conduct, prosecutors said.

A suspected impaired driver from Texas slammed into a marked Pennsylvania State Police cruiser in an active construction zone, injuring a trooper, authorities said.
